I had just discovered and was enjoying your music but am disappointed by this song. It appears to '2 sides' the issue. Palestinians have suffered 75 years of brutal oppression affecting every aspect of their lives, forced displacement, relentless ethnic cleansing, mass imprisonment without trial and mass murder and many massacres by the Israeli terrorist occupation as well as apartheid, severe restrictions on their freedom of movement, a cruel 16 year siege of Gaza [prior to the present full scale genocide] which was already causing many Palestinians to die prematurely. Between 2008 and September 2023, 23 times more Palestinians than Israelis were killed in the occupation. Millions of indigenous Palestinians and their descendants who were violently forced out [many were also murdered] in 1948 are still living as refugees, not allowed to return to their homes. 70% of the population in the concentration camp known as Gaza are people and descendants of Palestinians violently forced there from elsewhere in Gaza. This relentless ethnic cleansing is still happening in the West Bank as more foreign [overwhelmingly White] Jewish people from across the world arrive and continue to steal more land and homes, making ever more native Palestinians homeless. The much vaunted '2 state solution' which already rewarded Israeli land theft, is now virtually impossible so widespread has the land theft of Palestinians been. I understand that you might have also been inspired by the Hamas attack on Israelis last October 7th, but one side - the Israelis are the brutal imperial oppressors whose terror is many, many times the magnitude of that of Hamas. Hamas didn't even exist until the 1980's and Palestinians had been suffering decades of mass murder and ethnic cleansing already. Palestinians have been regularly massacred when they protest peacefully and have been continually let down by the outside world while the Israelis continue decade after decade to break international law with zero consequences . On top of all this many Western governments have long supported and funded these horrors. It is shocking beyond belief that they openly flout the international court of justice's ruling and continue to do so given how murderous the genocidal Israeli regime has been in recent months. Peace is not true peace without justice and Palestinians have never had justice - just endless oppression 💔💔😭😭🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉🍉
